Halfway Mark 2010

It seems hard to believe that we are approaching the halfway mark of this year already.
So much has happened in so little time, personal, business and at our state level.
Hence the lack of posting to my blog, pardon me please;)
Needless to say, everybody is on alert with the Deepwater Horizon\BP\Halliburton oilspil in the Gulf of Mexico.
God forbid we get an early storm system, (hurricane season is upon us this coming month), in the Gulf of Mexico pushing the chemical toxins even further inland!
The impact on our way of living here in Louisiana can be tremendous, just think about the seafood industry, the restaurant business, the export....
Yet life goes on and we are committed to make the best of it.
There are always blessings in disguise!
My shoulder continues to heal up, I have regained most of my mobility, strength is back and the pain is lessening. I believe firmly that it will take up to a full year post-op to assess the final result though. It seems that more and more adhesion is forming in the Sterno-Clavicular joint, resulting in better stability.
Yesterday I received the great news of a negative BTA test,
which puts me at 10 years cancer-free!!
Whoop-Whoop;)
