It was in August of 1988 that I moved from The Netherlands. My interest in cycling was rekindled when my friend Mark Miller opened Precision Bikes. Before that time Mark and I played doubles tennis for many years. I am very grateful for the way Mark has encouraged and taught me a tremendous deal about the sport I grew up with in Holland.
