Shopping..

For one or another reason, surgery or not, shopping is one of those things that'll remain on top of the list! Karen got upgraded to an iPhone and an iPod with speaker stereo, just in order to make life easier for her and her students. When making a late evening dash to 'Best Buy' and 'Barnes and Nobles', just in order to complete the last items on the list, we were pleasantly surprised to run into Mike and Laurie Stanton. Out there for similar reasons, (though Laurie wasn't counting on running into friends), hence pink clogs and sweater.... For those who don't know, Mike and I go back as long as I have lived here, (21+ years), and played tennis together for 10+ years. Needless to say Mike definitely the better player and mentor to me in more than one way;).
It looks like (in the picture) Mike is very fascinated with Laurie's pink clogs... Couldn't get him to smile at the camera...
All together a nice surprice to run into these awesome friends!

Life goes on for me and I'm very pleased knowing the weekend is around the corner! With me, my shoulder is very pleased as well, getting the much needed rest, even though that shoulder is resting in a sling. I'm blessed to have been able to assist about 22 patients, (about half normal schedule), to the best of my abilities. God is good, all the time;)
