We had planned a nice, easy 40 mile recovery ride this morning.
With a Ironman happening in Florida and a 70.3/ half Ironman in Texas, we ended up with only 6 of us.
The weather was beautiful with temperatures in the low 60's and the sun trying to peek through the clouds. Somewhere around Hidden Hills we were surprised by a 'hidden' dog,
whom ran out of his driveway into the road.
Brakes were squeezed and what do you know..... The dog took me out!
Needless to say, I again went down on my left side (bad shoulder), thank God it only resulted in bruised ribs, road rash, cracked helmet and some damage to bike and bike gear.
So far no evidence of any aggravation to the already dislocated SC-joint, and I am very fortunate to have my skin grafts on my left upper leg intact!

Sorry met al je pech, ook sorry voor de doggie!

dat fietsen, werken enz. is not to be done right now???Be
gentle with and for yourself darlink!
Love you en dikke kus,els.
Obama has not offered to bail me out yet! Not until then is it that I have to work for a living and it is cycling that provides health and sanity for me. They call it 'accident' for obvious reasons....
Thanks for the sweet wishes though ;)
Ruud, glad you are OK. Be careful out there.
