Even though dad has been gone 42 years now, I feel he is still with us in heart, mind, body an spirit. So often he appears, in conversation with siblings and friends, in my thoughts and sometimes even in my dreams.It seems a kind of funny to me that dad after all these years even got to make an appearance on the 'world wide web'!
Pardon the poor quality of the picture, it is a photograph of a very old photograph of dad.
It still amazes me how much this man has given me, in the short span I got to enjoy life with him. He has instilled so many values in me, along with a great sense of compassion, humor and a great eye for detail.
I am sure he and mom are looking down on their six 'old' kids, with a sense of pride for what each of them has accomplished.
I hope we look to them and can find the common denominator, that represents the longing for bonding, joy, peace and love......
I hope that all who know him, will celebrate his life today and in the days to come. Life is just too short, let us enjoy the journey!

Leuk even een kijkje te maken in jouw ”kastje”.
Merk dat de laatjes behoorlijk volzitten en dat er geen spraken is van oude luchtjes o.i.d
M.a.w. je haalt er de bezem dikwijls door en dat is precies de stijl de geeigend wordt door
de eerder genoemde Jan Vuijsters. Het is daarom duidelijk dat hij een finger in het spel heeft!!
Goed hé? Hij heeft zijn rol goed gespeeld en de opleiding die hij ons meegaf draaid nog steeds en
het examen is bekent dat het komt maar niet wanneer. Dus; Lucter et emergo, lukt het vandaag niet, geef niet op wat morgen gaat het beter!
